Process

How a project works, from first call to launch

Every project follows four steps: a short call, a written proposal with a fixed price, design and build with a preview you can test on your phone, and a launch that I check end to end. You talk to me, the developer, the whole way through.

The four steps

  1. 01

    A short call

    20 to 30 minutes

We talk about your business, your customers, and what the site or software needs to do. If you already have a site, I run a speed and SEO check first so we start from real numbers.

  2. 02

    A clear proposal

    Within a few days

You get a written proposal with the pages or features, a fixed price, and a timeline. No surprises later and no hourly meter running.

  3. 03

    Design and build

Usually 2 to 4 weeks for websites

I design the key pages, you give feedback, and I build. You get a private preview link so you can check everything on your own phone before anything goes live.

  4. 04

    Launch and after

    Launch day and beyond

I connect your domain, submit your sitemap to Google, and confirm your forms deliver. After launch, a care plan can cover hosting, updates, and edits, or I hand everything over to you.

Your part

What I'll need from you

Not much, but these four things make the biggest difference to how fast we launch.

Your goals
What a good result looks like: more calls, more bookings, fewer repetitive questions, a site you're proud to share.
Content
Service descriptions, photos of your work, your logo, and the details customers ask about. I help shape the words.
Access
Your domain registrar, and your current site if there is one, so nothing breaks during the move.
Quick feedback
A few rounds of comments at the design and preview stages. Fast feedback is the biggest factor in a fast launch.

FAQ

Questions about the process

How long does a website project take?

Most small business sites and rebuilds take two to four weeks from kickoff to launch. Custom software runs on a timeline set in the proposal, usually starting with a focused first version.

How involved do I need to be?

About half an hour for the first call, then short reviews at the design and preview stages. I handle the rest and keep you updated.

Can we meet in person?

Yes, if you're in Utah County or nearby. Calls and video work just as well for everyone else.

What happens if I need changes after launch?

Small fixes right after launch are part of the project. After that, a care plan covers ongoing edits, or you can request changes as needed.
