FAQ
About the check
What does the free website check test?
It runs Google's PageSpeed Insights, the same Lighthouse test Google publishes, on a simulated phone. You get scores for performance, accessibility, best practices, and SEO, the time it takes your main content to appear, and the issues worth fixing first, in plain English.
Why test on a phone?
Most local searches happen on phones, often on mobile data. A site that feels fine on office Wi-Fi can be slow for the customers who matter most.
What do you do with my email?
I send you a copy of the results, and I may follow up once to offer help. I don't sell or share your email, and you can ask me to delete it any time. See the privacy policy for details.
My score is low. Is that bad?
It means visitors are probably waiting longer than they should, which costs calls and rankings. The good news is that most issues are fixable, and a rebuild usually fixes them at the root.
